Canada Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs

Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is a governmental organization, committed to renewing relationships with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis and leading Canada's work in the North. The organization facilitates nation-to-nation, Inuit-Crown, and government-to-government interactions, aiming to modernize structures to support Indigenous peoples' self-determination. CIRNAC also actively contributes to various programs and initiatives concerning Indigenous and northern communities and undertakes the responsibility of reconciliation and renewal of relationships.
